Friday 30th January

Curry & Karaoke Night From 7pm Basil Spice, Basildon (Unit 2, Adams Business Centre Cranes Farm Road, Basildon, Essex, SS14 3JF). What a way to finish January! Mic in one hand, Bhaji in the other. Join them for great food, cold drinks, and zero judgment on your singing skills. Standard menu available.

Live Music: Hayley Gold From 7:30pm Posh Boys Brewery & Taproom, (8 Riverside House, Lower Southend Road, Wickford, SS11 8BB) Hayley Gold is live with high-energy vocals and feel-good party classics. Fridays are all about live music here!

Sober Takeover: Open Mic Night 7pm – 10pm Human Kind Cafe, (111 High Street, Billericay, Essex, CM12 9AJ) ReachOutforMentalHealth brings their first Sober Takeover to the cafe. Shaped by community feedback, this event offers a supportive, alcohol-free setting with an open mic night.

House and Garage Night From 6pm The Jolly Friars, (118 Whitmore Way, Basildon, SS14 3JT) Night party featuring House and Garage with DJ Midnight and DJ James Macree.

Saturday 31st January

9AM BLAST at ((BOUNCE)) Laindon 9am Laindon Community Centre High-energy, feel-good cardio to banging tunes. Child-friendly (bring prams/snacks!) and suitable for all. PAYG.

January Discovery Day at Billericay Community Garden @ 9.30am Help organize the garden in preparation for the new growing season. Contact: [email protected] for details.

Midwinter Market @ Wickford, 9am – 3:30pm Wickford High Street Wrap up warm and spend the day browsing stalls, meeting friends, and enjoying the winter buzz of the High Street.

Harry Caiger (Live Blues) 2pm – 4:30pm Barleylands, Barleylands Road, Billericay, Essex, CM11 2UD (Opposite side of the road, next to the recycling centre) Hailing from the south coast, Harry Caiger brings authentic-meets-modern Blues to Barleylands. Backed by a great rhythm section, expect a mix of Chicago blues, jump blues, and supercharged rock n’ roll.

Live DJ: Tim From 7:30pm Posh Boys Brewery & Taproom, 8 Riverside House, Lower Southend Road, Wickford, SS11 8BB DJ Tim is on the decks playing all the best party tunes for a lively Saturday night atmosphere.

Back to the 80’s Tribute 8:30pm Nevendon Centre, 217 Nevendon Road, Wickford, SS12 0PX Sing and dance the night away with this fantastic tribute band.
