Weather in Basildon this week

According to the Met Office weather forecast, Basildon's looking at a mild week, nothing like that 35-37° forecast. Today sits at 24°/16°, and Tuesday through Thursday hold close, 24-26° with cloud and some sun mixed in most days. Friday brightens up properly, full sun and 27°. Saturday goes back to cloud and sun at 27°/16°, then Sunday wraps things up sunny again at 27°/17°.
No heat warnings needed this round. Just a slow creep upward with cloud sticking around except Friday and Sunday.
