The Basildon Miniature Railway is now open
After months of hard work, we’re please to report that the long-awaited Basildon miniature railway is now open to the public. Hop aboard at Wat Tyler Park, Pitsea Hall Lane, Basildon, Essex, SS16 4UH. Family fun, just £4 a ride!
🚆 Weekends & school holidays | 11am–4/5pm (weather permitting)

👟 Shoezone Reopens Sat 2nd Aug
After a revamp, Shoezone will reopen the store at 70-80 Town Square (Eastgate) on Saturday this Saturday. It will feature new brands, a bigger range, with back to school offers.

🎾New Tennis Court Upgrades at Lake Meadows & Mopsies Park
The £90k investment previously announced by the Basildon Council is finally completed at Mopsies park and Lake Meadows. The council has promised fresh courts, free sessions, a new booking system & smart gate access.
