Cinematic Evenings is hiring (First event - Cromwell Manor, Basildon)

Hey Basildon,

If you’re interested in joining Basildon’s first outdoor cinema experience, Cinematic Evenings is hiring for multiple roles!

This is flexible, as-and-when work, perfect for anyone who enjoys flexible hours and wants to be part of something unique and exciting this year.

The first event will be at Cromwell Manor, Basildon — date to be confirmed, but they are now reviewing CVs and getting their team in place.

Current roles available:

Event Crew

• Help with setting up and packing down screens, deckchairs, sound and lighting equipment

• Greet guests and ensure a safe, welcoming, and smooth-running event

• Must be physically fit, reliable, and enjoy working as part of a team

• A positive attitude and customer-friendly approach are essential!

Tech Assistant (Training Provided)

• Work alongside our lead technician to run the AV side of events

• Support with setting up and operating sound, lighting, and projection equipment

• Ideal for someone tech-savvy or keen to learn — full training provided.

Driver

• Confident and experienced driving a Luton van

• Must hold a clean UK driving licence and be aged 21+

• Responsible for transporting equipment to and from event locations across Essex

• Physically fit and willing to assist with setup and pack-down.

• Excellent communication and time-management skills
