A new arena is coming to St. Martin’s—Essex’s biggest indoor venue with live shows, theatre, and the first e-sports arena in the East. Planning 2026, opening 2028, bringing 300k visitors a year and hundreds of jobs.

Main Pool Reopens at Basildon Sporting Village 🏊
The main pool and changing village reopen Saturday 20 September 2025. Swimming lessons resume the same day, with bookings from Monday 15 September at 10am via the Everyone Active app.
