Weather in Basildon this week

According to the Met Office weather forecast, Basildon is set for a warm and mostly settled week, with plenty of sunshine to start before temperatures ease slightly.
What’s New?
Hosepipe ban is effective from today. Essex & Suffolk Water hosepipe ban came into effect at 12:01am this morning, due to ongoing drought conditions. From today, you mustn’t use a hosepipe, sprinkler, or pressure washer to water gardens, wash vehicles, patios, or boats, or fill swimming and paddling pools. Additionally, filling or topping up domestic pools using buckets is strictly prohibited regardless of the method used.
Kids ride free on First Bus Essex throughout August. Kids aged 5 - 15 can ride most First Bus services for free throughout August, so families explore and enjoy days out together for less. To stretch your summer budget even further, the offer also includes access to exclusive discounts on family attractions through the government-backed "Savings all Summer" campaign.
