Friday 11th September

Back to the 80s @ Posh Boys Bar Kick off the weekend with a night of huge 80s anthems, dancefloor favourites and singalong classics at Posh Boys Bar. Dressing for the decade is very much encouraged, so bring out the neon, big hair and leg warmers. 📍 Posh Boys Bar, Wickford

The Foodie Festival @ 11:00AM – 5:00PM Back and bigger than ever, this year's festival spans two full days featuring delicious food vendors, refreshing drinks, unique craft stalls, and family fun. Northlands Park Green Flag Celebration @ 10:00AM–1:00PM Celebrate Northlands Park's Green Flag Award with a morning of free family activities, including football, tennis, cricket and fishing. The Mayor of Basildon, Cllr Sam Journet, will raise the Green Flag shortly after 10am. 📍 Northlands Park, Basildon.

Wickford Town Carnival 2026 @ 12:00PM Wickford Town Carnival returns for a free community celebration, with the procession starting at Runwell Park at noon before travelling through Swan Lane and Wickford High Street and arriving at Nevendon Park around 1:30pm. Everyone is welcome to join the procession. 📍 Runwell Park → Nevendon Park, Wickford.

Blues at Barleylands (Bad Pennies) 14:00 - 16:30 Top Dollar Rock and Blues. No Short Change - No Dodgy Notes!
